TSS’ Scholarship Program is open and accepting applications!
Triple Step Studios is pleased to announce our first annual dance scholarship program! Applications are open from November 14, 2023 to December 16, 2023. On December 20th, 2023, 2 recipients will be announced. Each individual award is worth approximately 7 social dance events, 4 workshops or 2 private lessons. Please apply or please spread the love if you know someone who should apply!
Criteria:
Send a brief email to info@tripstepstudios.com, limit to about 5-6 sentences answering these easy questions:
Provide applicant’s legal name, date of birth, residential address, telephone, and email address
Are you currently a swing dancer or a future dancer who would love to learn?
How is or how will swing dancing benefit you?
How will this scholarship benefit you financially?
Do you enjoy and/or appreciate jazz music and/or jazz history, and why?
Note to parents and/or legal guardians of minor applicants: You can apply on behalf of your minor applicant(s), but please also provide your contact information as listed above.

TSS’ Scholarship Program goal
Our goal is to allow dancers and aspiring dancers to have more access to dance events and take dance lessons (group and private lessons) without having to pay or work/volunteer. We want to create the most opportunities for growth for our scholarship recipients.
We aim to promote and preserve the much-beloved cultural dance art form swing dance and jazz music and history. The scholarships can be used toward any swing dance venue, event, and/or private lesson in the state of Georgia. Dances include but are not limited to Vernacular Jazz and Swing (Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, Charleston, and Solo Jazz).
